PROJECT FACTS………..

  • MISSION POSSIBLE DONATES $60,000 CASH
  • SCHILLING SHADE GRANT ADDS $14,000 TO KEEP OUR KIDS SUN SAFE
  • TOWN OF HOLLISTON HIGHWAY DONATES $40,000 IN-KIND FOR SITE PREP
  • MATCHING LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION GRANT EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS:  $111,587

History:

2011

  • 10/26 – Renovations begin at Goodwill Park Playground
  • 10/15 – MPH awarded CVS grant of $5,000
  • 10/01 – Brick Sale Extended to 12/2011
  • 9/14 – Poitras Family donates $40,000 to Goodwill Park Playground project
  • 9/14 – Holliston Parks Commission holds a meeting to place order for playground equipment
  • 8/30 – MPH receives check from Celebrate Holliston for $2,500
  • 8/30 – MPH receives check from Carl Damigella for $1000
  • 8/24 – MPH writes check for $60,000 to the Town of Holliston for the Goodwill Park Playground project
  • 8/14 – Goodwill Park Playground closed to start renovation
  • June – Beals + Thomas donate $18,000 of engineering services to MPH and the Goodwill Park Playground project
  • 4/14 – MPH is awarded a federal grant that amounts to over $111,000
  • March – Holliston Newcomers Club awards grant of $550

2010

  • November – 4th Annual Holliston vs Westwood Free Throw Basketball Contest
  • October – 4th Annual MPH 5k Road Race and Kids Fun Run
  • October – MPH wins Neutrogena Shade Structure valued at $14,000

2009

  • November – First Congregational Church of Holliston awards grant of $2,500
  • November – Fore Kicks matches First Congregation Church’s grant $2,500
  • November – 3rd Annual Holliston vs Westwood Free Throw Basketball Contest
  • September – 3rd Annual MPH 5k Road Race and Kids Fun Run
  • March – Holliston Newcomers Club awards grant of $2,000
  • January-March – “Family Night at Casey’s Crossing” raises over $1,000 for MPH

2008

  • November – 2nd Annual Holliston vs Westwood Free Throw Basketball Contest
  • September – 2nd Annual MPH 5k Road Race and Kids Fun Run
  • July – Holliston Lion’s Club awards grant of $2,500
  • February – MPH hosts Winterlude Live and Silent Auction

2007
